Timber Frame Construction

All frames are constructed from Douglas Fir milled by hand at my shop and labeled for assembly on site.

The standard frame is 24’ wide with 12’ posts joining a 12 on 12 roof, making the peak 24’ off its foundation. Each bay is 12’ wide. All frame members 8”x8’ joists and perlins (vary depending on the span). These frames can be spaced from 10’ to 14’ apart and are sold individually along with the connecting members (joists, girds and perlins).

A frame order can be shipped to your site, where I or your contractor can complete assembly. Frames may only be assembled by contractors with a timber-frame resume.
